Our New Library: The Jung Collection
The Jung Collection
After years of hopeful discussions and planning, the C. G. Jung Society of North Texas has established a lending library for persons interested in deepening their knowledge of Jung and analytical psychology. Over a thousand books and periodicals have been gathered and placed in the newly created Jung Collection. The Collection is probably the largest collection of Jungian-oriented materials in the area available to the public. It is located in the library at the First Unitarian Univeralist Church, located at St. Andrew’s and Preston Road, and can be accessed between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Persons wanting to use or check out books should enter the church building on the south side. Also, Gene Baker, a long-time member of the Society is present on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 1:30 to provide assistance in locating materials and checking them out. The First Unitarian Church is only a short distance east of St. Thomas Episcopal Church where lectures and workshops are held.
